Brumm 1/43 1980 Imola Italian Grand Prix, Ferrari 126 C Gilles Villeneuve / Ferrari 312 T5 Jody Scheckter practice sessions versions. On 5 and 6 September 1980, the Imola track hosted the free practice. The best time was Jean-Pierre Jabouille of Renault in 1'35" 37, new unofficial record of the track. The interest of the fans was the debut of the first Ferrari turbo engine, the 126 C, driven by Gilles Villeneuve, which closed in 1'39 "54. The pratice sessions were attended by Enzo Ferrari.
